About the Client
Marshall Brewing Co. has established their brand very well in Oklahoma and have expanded their craft to many varieties beyond traditional German style lagers.
The Challenge
I'd formed a relationship over the years with my apparel brand and when they needed a new artist to create labels for the small release beers I jumped at the task.
The Strategy
Beer labels are one of the most fun and creative forms of expression for me. It gives us a blank canvas to tell a story about the beer and the people behind it. Beer evokes a lot of sensory memories with smell and flavor. Giving it a visual mural helps bind the senses into a story one wants to drink over and over again.
